---- — The Windsor Blue Devils stiff-armed Cowden-Herrick as they rolled up the score for four quarters, notching a 23-point win on Monday night, 61-38.
The Devil defense did the job. They didn’t allow any of the Hornet players to break into double figures. Meanwhile, three Devils scored in double figures. Tristan Warner had a game-high 24 points, scoring nine times from the floor ( no treys) and going a perfect 6-of-6 at the line. Hayden Cole had 10 points with one triple and 3-of-4 at the line.
The break-out performance was Nic Hutchinson scoring 11 points, a season-high. Hutchinson recorded a trey hat trick, scoring all of his points from the floor.
Windsor held a modest 3-point lead after the 1st period, 10-7. In the 2nd, the Devils had a 14-6 run to lead by 11 at the break, 24-13. The 3rd period was more of the same with a 20-13 run. Up by 18 points to start the 4th, 44-26, the Devils swatted the Hornets one more time and finished them with a 17-12 run.
