Windsor Splits With St. John's

---- — Windsor Jr. High basketball added another split to their waning season on Monday. Windsor 7th (18-5) beat Mattoon St. John’s, 36-30, while Windsor 8th (3-18) lost, 42-16.

St. John’s jumped on Windsor early with a 10-3 run. In the 2nd and 3rd, Windsor answered with a 23-10. Windsor held serve in the 4th for the win.

The 8th grade tilt tilted the Trojans. St. John’s started strong again with a 13-6 run, followed by a 12-2 run to lead at the half, 25-8. Windsor played St. John’s even in the 3rd, but they shut out Windsor in the 4th.
