Okaw Sank By Sullivan

SHELBYVILLE, IL. — After a season-opening win on Monday, Okaw Valley got sunk by Sullivan on Thursday, 65-32.

Sullivan lost their first game, but it was to state-ranked Teutopolis. Against Okaw Sullivan was on the loose. Emily Neuhauser was off the hook, scoring 24 points, including a trio of triples and 11 free throws. She also recorded six steals.

Neuhauser's SOV track 200-relay teammate Amanda McClain led Okaw with 11 points. Amy Orris followed with seven points, including two 3-pointers.

Sully's Plank followed Neuhauser with 14 points. Boyer added 11 points, 10 rebounds and four assists, while Stewart was the fourth 'Skin with double figures, scoring 10 points.

Sullivan (1-1) hosts Arcola Monday.
