Shelby Super Dual Match Results

Shelbyville wrestling was near-perfect through the first six matches at the Thomas More New Year Challenge or “Super Duals” on Friday and Saturday, going 5-1 and losing that one match by one point. After just a 6-point loss to PORTA in the quarterfinals, the Rams lost their mojo and finished in 8th place in the 40 team tournament, that included 17 of the top 20 ranked teams in the state.

Individual Ram results through the first seven matches were available. Five Rams finished the Super Duals undefeated. Adam Hudson (152), Lucas Duckett (170), Jared Finley (138), and Wyatt Fox (145) were all 9-0. Elliott Smithson (220) was 8-0. Through the first seven matches Garrett Brachbill (126) was 5-1, and Caleb Cloe (195) and Zack Stirrett (106) were both 5-2.
