Shelbyville 7th Wins 4th In A Row

SHELBYVILLE, IL. — Shelbyville 7th basketball must be ahead of the curve as they have run their record to 11-4, including a 4-game winning streak. They beat Altamont on Monday, 49-37, prior to Altamont 8th beating Ram 8th, 59-34.

Tylr Gottfriedt had a season-high 20 points for Ram 7th in the 12-point win. He scored eight times from the floor, including a 3-pointer and was 3-of-6 at the stripe. Turner Pullen and Cade Watson were also in double figures. Pullen had 11, making 3-of-4 at the line, and Watson had 10 points.

Shelby broke open an 8-8 tie game in the 2nd with a 17-8 run. Mason Cameron and Gottfriedt scored twice each in the 1st. In the 2nd Gottfriedt scored four times and made a free throw to personally out-score Altamont 9-8 in the period. Pullen scored twice and Quinn Martz and Watson had buckets.
