C-H Dumps Devils

SHELBYVILLE, IL. — The Cowden-Herrick Hornets started off slow gain, but this time they were able to complete their comeback, beating Windsor by a bunch, 50-32.

Cowden-Herrick fell behind early and trailed seven at the break. Then Hornets came out of the locker room cooler than a cucumber and iced the Devils with a 31-6 run in the half.

After trailing, 14-9, in the 1st and, 26-19, at the break, C-H opened the 3rd with a 15-4 run to blow by the Devils for a 4-point lead heading into the final frame, 34-30. The Devils fire was and they got clocked again by a 16-2 final Hornet run to lose by 18.

Daily Union Athlete of the Week and 1000-point scorer, Luke Moore, led Cowden-Herrick with a game-high 18 points. He struck inside the arc and beyond the arc. Colton Burrus stepped up to score  nine points.

Morgason for nine ponts, each.

Windsor was led y Alex Allen and Tristan Warner witha dozen points, each.
