Okaw Baseball Wins Shortened Game


Okaw Valley started out a tough week, losing to but Tri-County, 3-1, then to Neoga, 17-0. On Wednesday, they got a lead and when the game was called due to weather, they notched a win over Arcola, 9-1.

Peyton Hagerman lost a tough pitcher's duel against Tri-County. He had a complete game allowing just three runs and four hits in seven innings, while striking out 11. His counterpart also went the distance, allowing one run on three hits and three walks and striking out 10.
