BC Back On Heels v. Altamont

Altamont volleyball has been red hot so far this season. They hosted and toasted Beecher City on Thursday. BC was put back on their heels in the defeat,  25-11, 25-19.

BC was on defense all night, like a scene from the Alamo. Altamont just kept attacking and BC fought until they were over-run.

The Eagles recorded 22 digs, but only five net points (4 kills, 1 block). They managed three assists for those four kills and three aces, but defense was their dwelling place.

Kirby Herrmann and Kirsten Buzzard led the defensive effort with seven and five digs, respectively. Five other players got down for digs.

Herrmann had two kills and the only Eagle block. Leah Kelly and Caitlin Sloan added a kil, each. Herrmann served two of the three aces. Kelly had the other. Kacie Hilt had all three assists.

BC (5-16) hosts South Centra in their final scheduled home match on Monday.
