The Illinois Basketball Coaches Association released the 2014 Girls Basketball All-State Teams and two of the 4th place Central A&M Lady Raiders (27-7) were picked, Ryan Dooley and Taylor Jordan.
Dooley, a sophomore, was named to the IBCA All-State 2nd Team. She scored 529 points this season as the Raiders leading scorer. She started all 34 games and averaged 15.6 points per game with her high game 31 points against Sullivan.
Dooley made 36 of 125 three-point shots (26.5%). She shot 42% from the field (195-of-432) and 70% from the line 103-of-145. She grabbed 101 rebounds and dished a team-high 132 assists. Dooley led the Raiders in scoring in 17 of their 34 games, including the State 3rd place game.
Jordan, a junior, was named the the IBCA All-State 3rd Team. She scored 427 points, starting 33 games, averaging 12.6 points per game. Her high-point game was 24 points against Meridian. She had 23 points in the super-sectional victory and 20 points in the state semi.
Jordan made 70 of 193 three-pointers (36.2%). Jordan set two state tournament records and tied another. She made six 3-pointers in one game. She made eight 3-pointers in one state tournament. She tied the record for eight 3-pointers in a career at state.
Jordan shot 39% from the field (127 of 326) and 82% from the line (103-of-123). She grabbed 121 rebounds and dished 25 assists. Jordan led the Raiders in scoring in 11 of their 34 games, including super-sectional and the state semi.
Brittin Boyer of Sullivan (jr.) was named to the IBCA All-State 4th Team.
