Devils dump Hornets

Windsor volleyball has lost some matches lately, but they stopped the bleeding with a 2-game win over Cowden-Herrick on Tuesday, 25-18, 25-11.

The Devils fired on all cylinders. They swung for 24 kills and Olivia Williamson dished a season-high 22 assists for a 2-game set.

Three hitters struck for 22 of the 24 kills Paige Woolard had eight kills and two blocks (10 net points) Katie Hostetter also scored eight kills with a team-high .412 hitting percentage and Autumn Bennett had six kills.

The Devils only needed 15 digs to ward off the Hornets. Bayleigh Tabor led with four digs and Woolard followed with three.

They delivered six aces in the 2 game set. Bennett led with two aces, Woolard followed with two and Courtney Fallert served one.

    Sullivan-Okaw Valley track usually challenges Central A&M girls and boys, but on Tuesday they beat them in Sullivan. SOV boys won (100), Central A&M was 2nd (49) and Warrensburg 3rd (30). SOV girls won (73) and CAM was 2nd (62).
