---- — The Daily Union Athlete of the Week had standout performances last week on the gridiron and on the court.

Olivia Williamson, the senior setter for Windsor volleyball ran the offense in a 2-game win over Cowden-Herrick and set a season record.

Williamson had a 21-assist performance the previous week against St. Elmo in two games, with 3 aces and 5 digs.

Against Cowden-Herrick, Williamson dished 22 assists in the too-quick, 2-game set.

On Friday night, Matt White, who has been a senior leader on the Shelbyville Ram football team, recorded 11 tackles in the defensive win over SOV, 14-12.

White is the leading tackler on the Rams. With his 11 tackles on Friday he eclipsed 50 tackles (27/23) through the first seven games, averaging 7+ per game.

Kendall Knop led Stew-Stras volleyball to a knock-off win over NTC leading St. Anthony, 25-22, 25-22 with 13 kills, 12 digs.

Knop then made the all-tourney team at Pana, leading the Comets to the title match. She had 31 kills in the Pana tourney, with 28 digs, 4 aces.
