SOV track sweeps at home

Sullivan-Okaw Valley track hosted a triangle meet and swept the boys and girls divisions. SOV girls won (82) over Tuscola (56) and Cerro Gordo-Bement (34). SOV boys won (91) over Tuscola (64) and CG-B (24).

Emily Neuhauser won the 100 (13.0) and 200 (26.83), while Amanda McClain won the quarter (1:00.18) and the long jump (16-9).

SOV won 3 of 4 relays and took 2nd in the other. Neuhauser and McClain, Ashlynd Risely, Mollie Bowman, who placed 2nd in the recent Top Times meet, won the 4x2 (1:50.24). The 4x4 relay (Alyssa Marshall, Carlin Nuzzo, Bowman, Neuhauser) also won (4:30). The 4x8 relay (Anne Hogan, Kennedy Lucas, Cadisen Nuzzo, Tori Murphy) won (11:45).

Bowman, who placed 10th at state last spring and 7th at the recent Top Times meet, won the triple jump (32-2). Megan Dash won the high jump clearing 5-2, while Amy Monroe won the shot put (30-2). Carlin and Cadisen Nuzzo finished 1st and 2nd in the pole vault, 7-0 and 6-6, respectively.
