Windsor 4th at Own Invite

Windsor got beat by a red hot Altamont volleyball team on Thursday in quick fashion, 25-13, 25-10. The Devils had to recover and host their annual invite on Saturday. The best they could do was salvage a 4th place finish.

Arcola came off being upset by Okaw Valley on Thursday and responded by running the table in their pool. Windsor was second in the pool on the strength of a 3rd game overtime win over Tuscola, 20-18.

Windsor hitters Autumn Bennett and Paige Woolard were both named to the all-tourney team. Bennett swung for 37 kills and four blocks and had 18 digs, plus nine aces. Woolard had 28 kills, two blocks and 25 digs, plus six aces.

Olivia Williamson did yeomen's work at the setter position dishing out 80 assists, besides 18 digs. Katie Hiostetter also stepped up at the net with 23 kills, two blocks, plus 10 digs.
