Shelby 8th beat Meridian and Clinton, but lost to Maroa.

"We stated as the 5th seed this weekend in the conference tourney and ended up in 3rd," said Ram 8th coach Taylor Rhodes. "I was very proud of the girls this weekend. I thought we played very well as a team."

A balanced Ram effort at the line knocked off Meridian. Mallorie Mason led the team with six aces and Bailee Buckles with four. Jordan Bruder led the team with three kills and four blocks (7 net points). 

After the loss to Maroa, Another balanced effort serving the ball secured 3rd place against Clinton. Emma White and Emmalee Storm had ten points, each, with Storm adding an ace. Buckles and Shayla Darnell served nine points and two aces, each.

Blair Rodman led at the net with four kills, while Bruder added two more blocks. Buckles dished a team-high five assists.
