BCCH swept by Pana Sac Heart

Pana Sacred Heart ran rough shod over Beecher City/Cowden-Herrick Jr. High basketball on Tuesday in twin 20-point victories. BCCH 7th lost, 41-20, and BCCH 8th lost, 39-19.

Pana Sac Heart 7th pummeled BCCH out of the gate with a 16-3 run. They extended their lead to 18 points by the break, 28-10.

They 2nd half was more competitive as BCCH played even in the 3rd, but then faded in the 4th to lose by 21 points.

Lauren Wojcik led BCCH with seven points, followed by Tabitha Endsley with four points and Cecelia Miller with 3-of-4 free throws. PSH was led by Holland with 14 points and Schoonover with eight.

In the prime-time game, the destiny wasn’t much different. A PSH 13-2 run in the 1st set the tone. PSH led by 15 at the half, 25-10. BCCH again played even in the 3rd, but then faded in the 4th as PSH finished on an 8-1 run for a 20-point win.

Taylor Oldham led BCCH with eight points, while Epley and Schoonover were in double figures for PSH, with 13 and 10 points respectively.
