Macon Miller Twin 50's Night

Shelbyville Daily Union

---- — That white Miller Lite can is a classic, a piece of brewing history just like the beer inside it. Miller Lite launched the light beer category roughly 40 years ago. It just makes sense the classic beer teams up with Macon Speedway for one of the fan favorite events of the season.

The Mueller Distributing Miller Lite Beer Twin 50’s Saturday on IHOP Night at the legendary fifth-mile high banked oval puts Big Ten Series late models on the track for a 50-lapper the same night Billingsley Towing modifieds race in a 50-lapper.

While street stocks, both hornet classes and B-Mods also race during the program, the Lite Beer Twin 50’s thrill fans with the stamina, daring and strategy needed to handle the demands of a long race on the famed oval. Late models and modifieds developed into the premier levels of Macon Speedway racing over the last few decades, and the tradition continues in one incredible night of racing.

It’s more than just racing at Macon Speedway. Mueller Distributing will hand out coozies to keep cans cold, and that brings us back to that can. The tall, white, 16-ounce can of Miller Lite – billed as The Original Lite Can -- features the familiar images of hops, barley and the words “fine pilsner beer” which reinforce the high quality ingredients and the unique brewing process that consumers have enjoyed for generations.

That’s two classics. Miller Lite and the Lite Beer Twin 50's at Macon Speedway. Miller Lite Beer Twin 50’s On IHOP Night
