St. Michael's, Windsor Win Stew-Stras 5th, 6th Tourneys

SHELBYVILLE, IL. — Stew-Stras hosted a look into the future by hosting a 5th and 6th grade tournament. St. Michael beat Sacred Heart for the 5th grade title, 31-12. Windsor and Stew-Stras played for the 6th grade title and Windsor rolled, 27-8.

    Central A&M blew out Eisenhower on Monday, 13-1, only to lose a squeaker to Sullivan on Tuesday, 2-1, then blowing out Mt. Pulaski on Wednesday, 11-1.

  • SOV Beats CAM at Home

    Sullivan-Okaw Valley track usually challenges Central A&M girls and boys, but on Tuesday they beat them in Sullivan. SOV boys won (100), Central A&M was 2nd (49) and Warrensburg 3rd (30). SOV girls won (73) and CAM was 2nd (62).

    Shelbyville boys and girls swept the Tuesday triangular track meet at Maroa. Shelby boys scored 100 points and the girls 98 points, defeating Maroa and Meridian.

    Windsor track went to Arthur on Tuesday and state medalist Katie Hostetter led them. Windsor girls finished fourth with 32 points, while the boys finished 4th with six points.
