SHELBYVILLE, IL. —

For Pana, Franklin led at the net with eight kills and three more blocks for 11 net points. Pana tried to block their way to an upset, but couldn't get it done, despite 15 blocks. Schoonover, Holthaus and Siegert had four blocks, each, plus Franklin's three. Of the 18 Pana kills, they only had 13 with assists.

Court defense wasn't a big factor for St. Anthony and not a big enough factor for Pana. St. Anthony only needed 17 digs to get the win, in part, because Pana only recorded 14 digs trying to stave off the Bulldog attack.
