SS/W Sweeps Ramsey

SHELBYVILLE, IL. — It was a rare sweep for Stew-Stras/Windsor, but boy was it sweet. The SS/W 7th rolled Ramsey, 41-8. The SS/W 8th won just their third game by doubling-up Ramsey, 32-16.

SS/W 7th ran their record to 13-5 with the 33-point rout of Ramsey. They shut out Ramsey in the 1st period on a 14-0 run. They took their foot off the gas and Ramsey finally got on the board with a 4-2 advantage in the 2nd period. SS/W still led by 12 points at the break, 16-4.

After the half, here came SS/W again, posting a 15-0 run in the 3rd to lead by 27 points heading into the final frame, 31-4. Ramsey scored again in the 4th, but was still out-scored 10-4 as SS/W extended their margin of victory to 33 points.

Megan Schlechte led all players with 12 points, out-scoring Ramsey by herself. She was followed by Carson Cole with 9 points and Katrina Davis and Bennett with six points, each. Ramsey was led by Ritter with just four points.
