Devils Beat Okaw, BCCH

Prior to the postseason, Windsor/Stew-Stras baseball nailed down a close win over Okaw Valley on Monday with a pair of runs in the 7th, winning 4-1.

Okaw Valley threw their best at Windsor/Stew-Stras, Devon Still and Peyton Hagerman. W/SS was able to take advantage of five walks and seven hits to eke out four runs against Still. Hagerman came in and threw three strikeouts to get out of the 7th. However, the Timberwolves couldn’t get any runs in their last at bat.

Windsor/Stew-Stras baseball hosted and toasted Beecher City/Cowden-Herrick in the Windsor 1A Regional on Wednesday, ending the eagles season with a 9-0 victory.

The Devils dropped four runs on BCCH in the 1st inning, after Mark Jones and the W/SS defense held BCCH scoreless in the 1st. Another BCCH goose egg in the 2nd left the door open for W/SS to extend their lead to 5-0.
