The Shelbyville High School Athletic Department and the Shelbyville Booster Foundation are working on a special project this summer for the Shelbyville High School Athletic Hall of Fame and Gymnasium Project. They hope to have it in place for the upcoming fall.
The SHS Athletic Department and the Booster Foundation recently worked together to fund raise and purchase the new scoreboards in the Shelbyville High School Gymnasium. They are setting the stage for the next large project to support Shelbyville Athletics.
The Shelbyille Athletic Hall of Fame, in the hallway outside the gymnasium, displays many of the great athletes of SHS past. The athletic department has worked to keep it up-to-date. However, they need some help to further improvements.
The athletes and team only go back to 1981, leaving out some all-time greats. Some accomplishments are missing. Pictures and frames are in assorted styles and lacks a professional appearance.
SHS Athletic Department and the Booster Foundation are looking to revamp the hall of fame.
