Down 10-0 in the 3rd, Savannah Marty and Sydney Trainor had consecutive hits. Blair Rodman walked and, with two outs, Maggie Furr reached on an error to get the Rams on the board.
They held off the 10-run loss through the 5th, but Meridian got the walk-off win on a bases-loaded walk.

The previous Monday at Maroa was more of the same for Moulton in the 15-2 loss.
Shelby was held to just one hit from Savannah Marty, a triple in the 5th that led to the second of two Ram runs. Meanwhile, Maroa cranked out 12 hits, including two triples.
Hannah Kemp gave the Rams their only lead of the game in the top of the 1st. Kemp reached first on an error and stole 2nd. After Blair Rodman was out on a fielder’s choice and Trainor reached on an error, Kemp scored, 1-0.
Maroa answered with a 7-run 1st. Down 7-1, Moulton went in order in the 2nd. Maroa went up 8-1 in the 2nd and Shelby still went in order in the 3rd.
Maroa upped their lead to 10-1 in the 3rd, knocking on the door of a 10-run win. Shelby went in order again in the 4th and left the door open for the early dismissal.
With the door open, Maroa bolted through it for another five runs, leading 15-1. Shelby had one more at bat to keep the game alive. Marty livened things up with a triple and a run, but it was too little, too late.
Kayla McCabe took the loss for Shelby.
