---- — CHBC came into the NTC tournament with a 1-1 record (0-1 NTC), but a loss to Dieterich put them behind the curve, 46-31.

The two teams felt each other out in the 1st round like a couple of boxers and were tied just 6-6. They upped their offense in the 2nd, but the bout was still a draw through half-time, with Dieterich up 19-18. The Maroons then grabbed control of the game with an 18-7 run in the 3rd. Facing the 4th CHBC was down 12, 37-25. CHBC kept Dieterich under double digits late, but CHBC couldn’t get their either, falling by a final margin of 15.

Ashley Miller led CHBC in scoring with 12 points and Jensyn Morrison followed Miller with nine points. However, Dieterich had three players in double figures. Mallorie Vahling had a game-high 15, Courtney Flach scored 13 with one trey, and Rachel Schmidt scored 12 points, with two 3-pointers.
