SHELBYVILLE, IL. —
A possible must-win game for the Central A&M Raiders comes this Friday night on the road at Argenta-Oreana High School as the Raiders face-off against the Bombers.
CAM has started the season 1-3 and if they want a chance to make the playoffs still, this game is a start to making that goal. Argenta-Oreana is coming into this game with a 3-1 record including their last win coming last week at St. Teresa in Decatur.
“We have to come out and play hard at the start,” CAM head coach Nate Graham said.
He said Argenta is good, but the Raiders have to play fundamental football if they will have any chance at winning this game. Even though this game is potentially a must win game, Graham says every game is crucial to win because the goal is to try to get that first home playoff game.
Right now the injury report for the Raiders is not looking the greatest as they will be without three starting players this upcoming game. Ryan Houser, Ben Stedman, Brandon Richardson, and Mason Frieser are all out this Friday. Though, Luke Mathis is just questionable.
Even though CAM has struggled this season, Graham says he still has enjoyed his time and is motivated to make the team better.
The Raiders have a chance to turn their luck around this Friday in Argenta at 7 p.m.
