Windsor Opens With Win, Loss

SHELBYVILLE, IL. — Windsor volleyball opened the season beating Okaw Valley on the road on Wednesday, 25-17, 25-12, then dropped a hottly contested  road match at Sullivan on Thursday, 29-27, 14-25, 25-19.

Autumn Bennett is leading Windsor in kills with six of the 11 team kills in the too quick, 2-game set. Olivia Willaimson led the Devils with 10 assists.

On Thursday, Windsor met a formidable opponent at Sullivan. Emily Neuhauser rock 'n rolled at the net for the Redskins, swinging for 12 kills. Sullivan swung for 23 kills, but Windsor was held to just 16 in a 3-game set. Windsor did record six blocks against the Redskin assault. Sullivan and Windsor both served up five aces, each.
