---- — The Central A&M Raiders finish the regular season this Friday on Senior Night against the rival Meridian Hawks.

Coming into their final game the Raiders sit at 1-7 while the Hawks are struggling as well with a 1-7 record.

Head Coach Nate Graham has stayed positive all season and looks too finally get that first home win of the season.

“We can end on a positive, and get a win,”said Coach Graham. “We have had a lot of injuries but we can overcome that and give the seniors one last win at home.”

Both teams are coming in on multiple game losing streaks, but it won’t change the atmosphere for these rivals

Graham said he’s told all the players to leave it all out on the field, because there’s no tomorrow.

Through the struggles the team has endured this season, Graham says there have been positives still.

“The most positive thing is that the team kept playing hard throughout everything,” Graham said.

The Raiders have been decimated with injuries every week this season, and will be no different in this game.

Going into the game this Friday, Ryan Houser, Austin Black and Jordan Miller are all out for the game.

Meridian’s last win was against Clinton back on September 20.

Believe it or not, the Raiders have actually played worse.

The Raiders last win was on September 9 at Shelbyville.

The season finale starts at 7 p.m. at Central A&M High School in Moweaqua.
