Shelby County 4-H members Amanda Hall, Luke Jesgarz, Delaney Nation and Mallory Schmitt attended the Illinois Horse Fair Judging Contest on Saturday, March 7 at the Illinois State Fairgrounds. The team judged stock type halter, stock type western pleasure, mini horse halter, mini horse driving, Hafflinger halter, Hafflinger pleasure, Saddlebred halter and Saddlebred pleasure. Following the judging, members had to answer 15 questions related to the classes they judged. The Shelby County team was seventh overall in the contest. Amanda Hall led the team placing 17th individually. Everyone did a great job and had a fun morning!
