Betty Ditzler of Shelbyville will be celebrating her 80th birthday on July 30.
She is the daughter of Ruby and John Hazen, born July 30, 1926, near Shelbyville. She is a member of Shelbyville High School Class of 1944.
She married Clark Ditzler, April 10, 1944. He is now deceased. They have three children: Donna (Larry) Bragg, Diana (Don) Hammond, and Dennis (Candi) Ditzler; six grandchildren and eight great-granchildren.
She was employed at Apples Cafe, Cains Cafe, Sta-Rite, Brown Shoe of Sullivan, and later helped her husband at Clarkâs Mobil Service Station.
She enjoys friends, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, working in the yard and flowers, and also country music shows. Reading is also a favorite pastime.
