A two-vehicle collision sent one Oconee man to HSHS Good Shepherd hospital around 4 p.m. on Jan. 24, according to the Shelby County Sheriff's Office.
Wanda Hicks, of Shelbyville, driving a 2003 Kia Sedona, was headed westbound on 1300 North in Rose Township. Hicks slowed her vehicle to turn left onto 1300 East, and she pulled out in front of a Chevy Equinox traveling eastbound on 1300 North, police said.
The driver of the Equinox, Shaw M. Wheat, was unable to avoid the Sedona, causing a collision, police said.
Wheat was taken by ambulance to HSHS Good Shepherd hospital.
Both vehicles were towed by Halbrook Auto Towing in Shelbyville.
Reeves ticketed Hicks for an improper left turn into oncoming traffic. She will appear in court at 9 a.m. Feb. 15.
