Main Street School has a new student who doesn’t talk much but sure does get around. Curious George, the well-known childhood story book figure, has taken the form of a hand puppet which will be having a sleep-over with each of the students in Mrs. Miller’s reading groups.

Miller came up with the Curious George project as a fun way to encourage individual writing and reading skills. Each night, George will go home with a different student and notebook so his curious behavior can be recorded. On George’s first outing, the student recorded, “George played in my spaghetti and got me in trouble.”
