Thirty members and guests saw a wonderful production of “Funny Girl” at the Sullivan Little Theater on Wednesday, July 15 All agreed it was an excellent performance by all.

Before the theater the group stopped at the Red Apple Restaurant for lunch.

Those making the trip were Betty Adden, Dena Adden, Betty Altersberer (guest), Mabel Blue (guest), Sue Boston (guest), Nell Castle, Jeanie Crist, Judy Crosby, Mildred Dickey, Janet Dorn, Rhoda Dudra, Nina Elvers, Joyce Farr, Betty Gabriel, Dottie Hrabak, Dee Kelly, Midge Kendall, Wanda King, Brenda Lewellyn, Lois McKenzie, Doris Metzger, Yvonne Moon, Jo Morez, Mary Pinkston, Jean Shuler, Shirley Sullivan (guest), Mary Vemmer, Irma Waddington, Ethel Wagner (guest), and Midge Wise.

On July 25 a P.J. breakfast will be held in Springfield and some members are planning to attend.

On August 17 Red Hat Day again will be celebrated at the Illinois State Fair. Anyone wishing to attend should contact Rhoda Dudra for a registration form.

The regular August outing will be to Josephine’s in Godfrey. The date and time will be announced at a later date.
