The Shelby County Sheriff's Office released a list of arrest reports recently for the first two weeks of May.

On May 2, deputies were dispatched to 1800E/1000N in Rose Township at 8:30 a.m. for a one vehicle accident with no occupants on the scene. After an investigation, the driver was identified as Leiff A Leonberger, 41, of Shelbyville. He was traveling westbound, when he disobeyed the posted stop sign. He drove across 1800E and into the west ditch, where he struck a large ditch embankment.

A passenger identified as Hillary L. Haney, 40, of Shelbyville was taken by a passing motorist to HSHS Good Shepherd Hospital with injuries. Leonberger later turned himself in and was charged with leaving the scene of a personal injury accident and disobeying a stop sign. He later posted bond and was released.

On May 3 at 12:50 a.m., in Tower Hill Township, Jeremy D. Key, 31, of Shelbyville was arrested on an active warrant out of Christian County, driving while license revoked, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, operating a vehicle with a suspended registration due to insurance, and unlawful display on a vehicle of a license plate after a traffic stop at 1150N/750E.

A passenger Chad R. Hammond, 46, of Shelbyville was arrested for possession of methamphetamine. They were transported to the Detention Center for processing.

That same night, May 3 at 1:03 a.m. in Clarksburg Township, Bryadon A Stoneburner, 22, of Effingham was arrested for driving while license suspended after a traffic stop at 2050E/700N. He was transported to the Detention Center and later posted bond.

Later that day, May 3, at 8:50 p.m. in Shelbyville Township, Blake R. Durbin, 33, of Shelbyville was arrested for driving under the influence after deputies responded to a single vehicle accident at Co. Rd 1150n/2077E. He was transported to the Detention Center for processing and later posted bond.

On May 11 at 1:56 a.m. in Shelbyville Township, Rebecca A. Morrison, 28, of Shelbyville was arrested for criminal damage-vehicle and no valid insurance after deputies responded to a call of someone damaging a vehicle at 1094N/1800E. She was transported to the Detention Center awaiting a court appearance.

On May 15 at 5:04 a.m. in the Village of Findlay, Jessica M. Decker, 25, of Sullivan was arrested on an active warrant out of another county and possession of methamphetamine < 5 grams. She was transported to the Detention Center for processing.
