Strasburg's Annual Halloween Celebration will be Saturday at the Strasburg Community Center.

A soup supper will begin at 5 p.m., followed by the performance of the Stewardson-Strasburg band. A masked parade, cake walk and 50/50 drawing are also on the agenda.

The American Legion Auxiliary Unit No. 289 will serve chili, chicken noodle soup, barbecue, hot dogs, polish sausage, chili dogs, homeamde pie, soft drinks, tea, coffee and hot chocolate.

The masked parade will follow, and prizes will be awarded to winners in the following categories: under three years old; storybook and fairytales; TV and movies; clowns and hobos; monsters, ghosts and witches; cowboys and indians; military; animals; miscellaneous; and adults.

Grand prize winners will receive $25.

The cake walk will be after the parade and is sponsored by the American Legion Post No. 289.

Last year, over 70 cakes were donated by women in the community for the cake walk.

The 50/50 drawing will wrap up the evening.
