The Windsor/Stew-Stras State Champion softball team (26-0-1) blew out St. Elmo on Monday, 15-0,. then was tested by Casey on Tuesday. It took an 8th-inning rally to get the victory, 5-3.

Casey-Westfield is know for girls softball. WSS was taking on an institution. Casey and W/SS are in the same sectional and will likely face each other again in the post season. In this game, WSS was without one of their aces, Calla Roney, and lead-off hitter Carson Cole.

The game went all the way to the 8th inning with a 2-2 tie. Casey had just tied the game with a solo home run in the bottom of the 7th. However in the 8th, Casey cracked.
