The IHSA Class A Girls State Track Meet preliminaries were held at EIU in Charleston on Thursday. The following results were posted. Those in bold type qualifies for Saturday's finals.

Freshman Tatyana Duckwitz (CHBC) long jumped 16-9, 3 inches out of the finals.

Freshman Gabrielle Spain (SH) pole vaulted 10 feet to advance to finals.

Junior Carson Beyers (SH) pole vaulted 9-6 to just miss finals.

Sophomore Alexis Evrley (P) shot putted 33-4, but missed finals

Junior Jaelyn Robertson (CHBC) triple jumped 33-9.25, but did not make finals.

Senior Esther Miller (SUL) went 35-4.75 in the triple jump, but missed finals

Junior Olivia Durbin (SH) threw discus 103-01, but did not make the Top 12  for finals

Shelbyville's 4x800 relay (Rachel Throneburg, Elizabeth Bowyer, Brook Schutt, Ella Tynan) ran 11:58.9, but did not make finals.

Pana's 4x1 relay (Shelby Edwards, Kaylee Holland, Bree Rochkes, Brianna Sarver) ran 51.36, but did not make finals

Senior Daelin Switzer (StT) ran 14.76 in the 100 hurdles and made finals.

Junior Kenli Nettles (ART) ran 14.23 in the 100 hurdles to make finals.

Sophomore Brianna Sarver (P) ran 12.5 in the 100 dash but did not make finals

Freshman Gabrielle Spain (SH) ran 2;21.86 in the 800 run to make finals.

Pana's 4x2 relay (Edwards, Holland, Kady Perry, Sarver) ran 1;52.57 but did not make finals

Senior Esther Miller (SUL) ran 1:01.12 in the 400, but did not make finals.

Senior Bree Rochkes (P) ran 1:01.24 in the 400, but did not make finals

Senior Daelin Switzer (StT) ran 45.51 in the 300 hurdles and made finals

Junior Kenli Nettles (ART) ran 44.41 in the 300 hurdles to make finals

Junior Ailey Mitchell (SH) won her heat of the 1600 (5:11.67) to make finals

Freshman Gabrielle Spain (SH) ran 5:41.08 in the 1600 and did not make finals

Kenli Nettles (ART) ran 26.77 in the 200 dash to make finals

Daelin Switzer (StT) ran 26.28 in the 2300 dash to make finals

Sullivan's 4x4 relay (Natalie Drury, Emily White, Zoe Walton, Esther Miller) ran 4:22.09 but did not make finals
