The Cowden-Herrick volleyball team came back after losing the first set, but lost a see-saw match to Dieterich on Thursday, 18-25, 25-20, 20-25.

CHBC sizzled 29 kills in the 3-set match from 27 assists (93%). They served 4 aces and recorded 5 blocks for 38 attack points out of 63 total points (61%). CHBC also got down for 38 digs in the match.

Lauren Wojcik led the Bobcats at the net with 9 kills and 2 blocks for 11 attack points all at the net. Tatyana Duckwitz followed with 6 kills and a block for 7 attack points. Zaryah Smith had 5 kills and an ace for 6 attack points.

Kylee Bertin and Paeton Underwood led the setters. Bertin had a team-high 15 assists and Underwood 10. Jacque Witteborg ansd Smith led the defense. Witteborg scooped 10 digs and Smith 8.

The loss dropped CHBC to 1-1 on the season. They play next at Okaw Valley on Thursday.
