Central A&M had post presence Channing Reed back and the difference was marked. They destroyed Argenta on Monday, 57-14.

Reed had been injured from volleyball season and missed the Raiders first week of games until Monday. A&M won just one game. That changed.

The raiders ran out to a 16-6 lead in the first 8:00. Hannah Schinzler scored twice and Mikayla Denton scored twice. Reed scored once McKenna Denton, Lanie Sams and Julia Braundmeier scored.

Argenta got a solo 3 from Gruider and a free throw and a bucket from Williams, but trailed by 10.

Injury was followed by insult as A&M went on a 20-3 run in the 2nd period. Sams, Braundmeier, Emma Beck, and McKenna Denton had solo two. Braundmeier made 1-of-2 free throws. Schinzler made 3-of-4. McKenna made 2-of-4 foul shots. Mikayla made two free throws and Reed 1-of-2. A&M shot 14 free throws and made 9.

Pirtle scored for Argenta and Williams split two free throws and fell behind by 27 points at the half, 36-9.

A&M was like a well-oiled machine that couldn't be shut down. In the 3rd they went on a 19-4 run. Sams stroked two triples. Schinzler scored twice. Reed scored three times and McKenna Denton sank a trey. Williams and Hector had solo twos for AO and were in a 42-point hole, 55-13.

The 4th was afterglow, with only 3 points scored total. Sams had a two and Houser 1-of-2 AO free throws.
