Ryan Skowronski was one of three Rams to sign on the same day to play collegiate sports two years ago. He considered three schools, ran for one, then showed up at another.

Skowronski was a star in JFL, but once he got to high school he focused on cross country and track. Skowronski was considering EIU and SIUE, but chose Olivet Nazarene University in Bourbonnais. He ran there as a freshman, then switched to EIU as a sophomore.

Skowronski’s time’s going in were a little better then the middle of the pack for Olivet, which runs in the NAIA Division, plus some D-II and D-III.

Skowronski’s best event at Olivet was the 800, the same as in high school. In track as a senior, Skowronski placed 7th in the 800 meter run at sectional (2:06).
