Windsor/Stew-Stras softball (14-2) trampled foes in a trinity of games in Friday and Saturday.  They beat Teutopolis on Friday, 17-4. On Saturday, they beat Sullivan, 15-0, and Warrensburg, 15-0.

WSS out-scored three victims by 43 runs, 47 to 4. WSS pounded out 18 hits against T'town. They jacked 11 hits against Sullivan and nine hits against Warrensburg, out-hitting their foes 38 to 7.

Samantha Hayes won the first two games for WSS and Stacie Vonderheide won the third. Hayes threw a total of 4.3 innings, allowing 4 runs, 5 hits, 6 walks and striking out 8. Vonderheide went 3 innings, allowing 0 runs, 1 hit, 3 walks, and striking out 5.

Addie Wernsing's bat was on fire. She hit  8-of-9 in the 3 games, with 3 doubles, a triple, a grand slam home run, 6 runs, and 5 RBIs. Alaira Friese was 6-of-8 with a double, 3 steals, 6 runs and 5 RBIs. Samantha Hayes was 5-for-9 with a double, a steal, 4 runs and 5 RBIs.

Against T'town, WSS had a 2-run down payment in the 1st. Stacie Vonderheide walked and Wernsing doubled her home. A Gabby Vonderheide reach on an error and a ground out by Hayes made it 2-0.

In the 2nd WSS exploded for 8 runs. Friese singled, Ellie Wittenberg reached on an error and Ella Kinkelaar and Stacie v singled, 5-0. Wernsing jacked a triple, 6-0. Gabby V singled and Hayes doubled, 8-0. Kinley Quast and Friese batted around and singled again, 10-0.

Five walks and a single in the T'town 2nd made it 10-4. WSS answered in the 3rd. Kinkelaar singled Stacie V reached on an error and Wernsing singled, 12-4.With two outs, Quast doubled, 13-4.

In the 4th, WSS got a run when Kinkelaar singled, Stacie V singled a run in and Wernsing singled Stacie home, 15-4. In the 5th, Hayes, Friese and Marisa Daniels singled. Kinkelaar singled two runs home, 17-4.

Against Sullivan, WSS had another big 2nd inning. They scored 3 in the 1st. Kinkelaar walked and stole 2 bases and scored on a ground out. Wernsing doubled and scored on a ground out. Hayes singled, stole 2 bases and scored on a wild pitch, 3-0.

In the 2nd, Friese doubled, Daniels singled, Wiitenberg singled, Kinkelaar walked and Stacie walked. Leading 5-0, Wernsing hit an inside-the-park grand slam home run, 9-0. Two singles by Quast ans Hayes and two errors later, it was 10-0.

Daniels batted around and singled again, 11-0. Quast scored on a wild pitch. On a double play, Friese scored, 13-0. Hayes struck out her 2nd and 3rd victims in the Sully 2nd.

Payton Durbin led off the WSS 3rd with a double. Katelyn Vonderheide reached and Aubrey Antrim doubled, 15-0. Hayes KO'd two more in the Sully 3rd and the game was over.

WSS got busy in the 1st against Warrensburg, posting a 7-run lead. Stacie V struck out 2 of 3 batters in the 1st. Kinkelaar walked Stacie singled, 1-0, then Wernsing, Gabby V, and Hayes walked, 2-0.

Quast walked Friese singled, 6-0. Daniels walked. Kinkelaar batted around and walked. Friese scored on a ground out, 7-0. 

In the 2nd, Hayes singled and Quast singled, but Hayes was caught stealing. Friese singled Quast home. Daniels walked Friese scored on a wild pitch and Wittenberg walked. Ainslie Eident, running for Daniels, scored on a wild pitch, 10-0.

In the WSS 3rd, Stacie was hit and Wernsing doubled. Gabby V tripled in 2, 12-0. Hayes grounded out Gabby home, 13-0. Quast and Friese her hit back-to-back, but were left on.

In the 5th, ,Kinkelaar and Stacie walked. Wernsing singled to loaded the bases. Gabby singled a run in. Hayes reached via error for the 15-0, walk-off win.
