The Tower Hill Senior Citizens met May 6th at the Tower Hill Lions Club for their monthly noon potluck.

The meeting was opened by vice president Russell Young, with Pledge of Allegiance and prayer. Those there for the first time and the band went first in line. The meal was enjoyed by all 38 who were present. Granny Jones, president, came before the meal brought by her son, Norman, as she has been ill. Secretary Joan and Bob McCafferty made rosebud corsages for the ladies for Mother’s Day and Bob pinned them on the ladies.

The door prize was won by Ann Barnes. There were no birthdays.

Entertainment was provided by the Mt. Auburn Pickers Qauckers. Players were Patsy Claton, Rollo Clayton, Tom True, Leona True. They sang many old tunes and did a lot of good picken and told some jokes. It was enjoyed by all.

The June 12 meeting will be at noon at the Tower Hill Lions Club. Bring a friends, a dish and come enjoy some good food and good fellowship and entertainment.
